“I Be Scramblin’” - Cam’ron | 10.15.22

Late, better than never I was told. Shoutout for extended ass travel keeping me exhausted enough not to bother you all for a while, but also giving me a busted knee and aggressive skin irritation this week? Maybe it’s stress, who knows.

Despite the last couple months being a whirlwind, life’s pretty good. I made the heading of this email a more…permanent fixture on my body; visited Heidelberg Castle and drove real fast on the Autobahn; celebrated a best friend’s wedding; and saw Bad Bunny at Cowboy’s Stadium at the height of his goddamn powers. Cue my Duolingo re-download so I can know what I’m screaming at the next giant Puerto Rican house party.

While I try to finish this pesky narrative essay I’ve been working on (still bad at writing prose!), I want to express the gratitude for all of the fortunate blessings in my life - including people interested in reading or listening to me. I write/speak because I feel compelled to - but it’s because I have you all to inspire and guide me. Whether we talk frequently or rarely ever, your interest in any of this is a distinct gift. I was asked in a job interview not too long ago where I draw inspiration from and without thinking, I realized everything serves as a sort of muse for me. Most of all, your love and support, which enrich my life more than my little words can adequately convey.

Thanks for being here.
